weddings, elopements, cinematic stories

WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHy IN LISBON & PORTUGAL

my philosophy

Your wedding day isn’t a performance.
It’s a series of fleeting, imperfect, beautiful moments, and my role is to notice them.
I work in a documentary way, sometimes quietly observing, sometimes gently guiding. I shoot both digital and real film, blending honest storytelling with the timeless texture of analogue. The result is imagery that feels cinematic yet deeply true — photographs you’ll return to years from now and still recognise yourselves in.
analogue addiction
In our all-over-digital world, I'm still loading film rolls into cameras that are sometimes twice as old as I am. It feels nice to actually hold the materials in your hands, to hear the sound of the lever and the shutter, not to know right away how the picture turned out.
There’s something grounding about that. When gigabytes of information pass through us every hour, things that feel physical and real become rare. Film slows me down, it makes me choose, it makes me pay attention.
The soft focus, the grain, the light leaks and sun flares — they’re not flaws to fix. They’re part of the moment, they belong to the fabric of the day. And years from now, you’ll see the difference. Not just in how it looks, but in how it feels.

my work is for couples who...

…care more about connection than perfection. Who aren’t interested in hiding behind heavy retouching or performing a version of themselves that isn’t real.
understand that trust creates the best photographs. The best photos happen when you feel safe enough to be fully yourselves — and my role is to create that space for you.
…want to create together. I’ll guide you when you need it, step in when things feel awkward, and gently lead when necessary. But the magic happens when you’re present with each other, not with the camera.
If that feels like you, we’ll get along beautifully.
